I have already reviewed the first story of this excellent collection, Jeeves takes charge wherein Jeeves meets Wooster and this great friendship takes off.
This books has ten stories. Nine of them are narrated by Wooster. The last is told by Jeeves.
The characters are so deftly etched. Bingo, Aunt Agatha, Sir Roderick Glossop, Aunt Dahlia and above all Wooster and Jeeves seem so familial in their antics.
The way Wodehouse plays with English is breath taking. He presents the mundane in a shining light. His prose is perfect. If you are ever in the need of getting your spirits lifted, just dive head on into his books.
Can't be recommended highly enough. Beg, borrow or steal. But do yourself a favor. Read Wodehouse. He will brighten up your galaxy no matter how radiant it might happen to be at the moment.
